We meet once a month on the third Thursday morning, starting at 10a.m. at the United Reformed Church on Oxford Road. There is a small fee to cover the costs of hiring the hall and other expenses such as licence fees.
A meeting usually comprises two contrasting sessions and they may be on any musical topic. Our speakers and presenters may be from our own group but we frequently welcome guest presenters and performers.
From time to time we arrange visits with a musical theme. These have included day trips to Hatchlands, Brentford Musical Museum, the Royal Festival Hall, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music, the Bate Museum of Musical Instruments (Oxford) and concerto performances by young musicians who have performed for us at MAG.
