A fascinating combination of the original French Romme (Austrian/German Rommee-Rummy) and S- and N-American Canasta, with tantalising twists to both games. We use a mixture of the many different rules available, certainly play to win, but with plenty of talk and laughs during the refreshment-break, trying to work out what may have gone wrong with our secret “strategies” ! We meet in each other’s houses every 1st and 3rd Tuesday between 2.00 and 4-4.30 p.m.
