The University of the Third Age is an international organisation of people who have reached the "third age" and are no longer in full-time employment, who meet to share ideas and experiences, extend knowledge and have fun at the same time.

The Marlow and District U3A was formed in 2006 and has more than 700 members.
Activities, of which there are over seventy, take place in the daytime or evening in either member's homes or other venues.
There is a monthly meeting with an invited speaker and a bi-monthly newsletter keeping members in touch with coming events and issues. Members meet with their group convenor to decide on their programme of activities and learning.
